The Saudi Oncology Society (SOS) is a non-profit organization, founded in 2007, with a central goal of improving cancer care and prevention as well as ensuring that all patients with cancer receive care of the highest quality. The SOS is committed to advancing education of oncologists and other oncology professionals, fostering communication among cancer-related medical subspecialties and the exchange of a wide range of ideas related to cancer, to advocate for policies that provide access to high-quality cancer care, and to supporting the clinical trials programs and the need for increased clinical and patients-oriented research.
